Fiona comes home from Spain with a Trophy

Fiona Roger (Ranfurly Castle) returned from Spain on Saturday with the handicap Trophy from the Spanish Seniors played at Jerez Golf Course last week.
Fiona who had a net 148 for the 2 rounds played in the singles competition was not sure quite what divison it was from as the prizegiving was all in Spanish but she thought it was from the 3rd Division of players
WELL DONE FIONA --- I knew there was some hidden talent there !!
The Scottish group that had lost their clubs on the outward flights, also lost their clubs on the homeward flight. Despite that I think Helen Faulds (Douglas Park) partnered by Evy MacGregor (Ranfurly Castle) managed to win their foursomes tie a Douglas Park on the Sunday with Helen borrowing her husband clubs !! Posted by Picasa
