MEGAN HAS A NINE AT THE SCOTTISH UNDER 21 GIRLS CHAMPIONSHIPS BUT RECOVERS WELL

Despite having a 9 at the 6th hole in the Scottish Under-21 Girls’ Open Amateur Stroke-Play Golf Championship at Dunfermline Golf Club today Megan Briggs had 4 birdies in her round to help limit the damage with a 5 over par 77.The Pitfirrane course was so sodden by heavy rain that there was an hour’s delay at one point to allow the excess water to subside so it was a hard day for all the players
Younger sister Elidh finished one stroke better with a 76 and Natasha Qayum had 78
