The June Medal was played to-day over Caldwell in very unlike June weather! Strong winds and at times heavy showers made conditions difficult. Only 33 ladies played as many were either at Nairn for the Curtis Cup or watching the Olympic Torch passing through the Renfrewshire area. The overall winner was
IONA STEPHEN (Ranfurly Castle) with an excellent score of net 71. Iona also had the best scratch score of 79. Winner of the 13+ handicaps was
MAUREEN TAGGART (Old Ranfurly) with a score of 87 (15) 72. The SSS was 72 and the CSS 75.
