Dorothy Cartildge and Julie Dickson (Whitecraigs) beat
Gillian Kyle and Audrey Mackenzie (East Ren) today at
East Renfrewshire Golf Club on a very pleasant December morning. Apart from 2 bad holes, the visitors were 3 over par for the front 9 and
3 up. (Having been 4 up!) Gillian and Audrey
started their comeback and levelled the match at the 15th. The next 2 holes were halved then Gillian
thinned a chip through the back of the 18th as trying too hard to match
Julie’s excellent approach shot!
The course was in great condition for the time of year and we all holed some really good putts making it an exciting close match.
