Megan and Eilidh Briggs played each other yet again in the Kilmacolm Championship yesterday (Sunday 22nd August 2010). It got off to a very even start with both girls playing very well.
Megan's shots to the green were so accurate that it was difficult for Eilidh to play against birdies. Sometimes pars were not good enough. What a shame they have to be sisters but I think they went home still talking!! Congratulations to Megan for winning her 7th Championship title at Kilmacolm and sincere commiserations to Eilidh. I am sure Eilidh will succeed one of these days (sorry Megan!). Both fantastic players and a credit to Kilmacolm and the County.
Megan and Eilidh are both playing together at Douglas Park next Sunday (29th August) in the SLGA Scottish Foursomes Championships.
