CAMPBELL CLOCK - EMMA KENNEDY IS THE WINNER

Emma Kennedy is presented with the Campbell Clock by Whitecraigs Captain Elizabeth Hall

The Renfrewshire Ladies’ County Open Junior Stableford Competition was played over Whitecraigs Golf Course this afternoon in lovely weather.

The course was in excellent condition and we are indebted to the Committee and members of Whitecraigs GC for allowing us so many starting times on the ‘big’ course and also the Par 3 course.

Thirty six girls played in the 3 different competitions and it was great to see them mixing socially and enjoying the atmosphere.
Helpers accompanied the groups playing the short course and also the girls playing in the 8 hole event. Their help was greatly appreciated as they helped the girls to work out Stableford points, looked for wayward shots and explained rules and etiquette !

Congratulations to all the prizewinners, especially Emma Kennedy from Paisley GC who won the lovely Campbell Clock Trophy for the best score of 35 points over 18 holes.
