Your Webmaster Carol had been hoping to have loads of photographs from the Ryder Cup at Gleneagles.
Unfortunately she was unable to undertake her roll as a Media Assistant at the event and the best she can do is show you a short video that she took at the Ryder Cup Gala Concert at the Glasgow Hydro last Wednesday.

JENNIFER RANKINE IS THE 2014 RENFREWSHIRE COUNTY JUNIOR CHAMPION
After all the Ryder Cup excitement at the weekend today we had the RLCGA Girls Championship Final.
Finalists this year were Niamh Kinney, Erskine and Jennifer Rankine, (Haggs Castle).
Niamh got off to a flying start being only 2 over par for the first 5 holes and was 1 up. Jennifer squared the match at the 6th and was 1 up after 9 holes.
She then managed the next 4 holes in level par to go 5 up with 5 to play.
Niamh fought back with an amazing birdie at 14 but it was all over at the 15th and Jennifer won 4/3. Well done to both girls for reaching the final and playing such great friendly golf.
Thanks go to Gillian for organising the courtesy of Cochrane Castle and thanks go to Junior Secretary Janette McCartney for the report and photographs

THANKS GO TO THE CADDIES
All,
Due to the excitement of the weekend, I omitted to thank the caddies.
My thanks go to our caddy mistress Elaine , for organising the caddy rota.
With a caddy on the bag,
It's a team game. I know the input a caddy has on their player's decisions.
It inspires confidence in the player and as the saying goes, 2 heads are better than one.
My many thanks go to the RLCGA members who caddied over the weekend and special thanks to the Ayrshire and D & A caddies, who also caddied for us and turned up in Renfrewshire colours.!!!
After an exhausting weekend, My legs and blood pressure have now returned normal!!!
