GLEDDOCH STABLEFORD - MOLLY IS HAPPY HER OWNER JUNE LOCKHART IS THE WINNER !

Disappointingly only 6 members played in the July Stableford at Gleddoch Golf Course today and all had a great day out. The course was in excellent condition with lots of work having been done on the course due to the take over of Gleddoch by new owners. Huge changes are going to be made and certainly we all agreed that the course was looking good.
Home player June Lockhart was the star of the day with 35 points - SSS 73, CSS 75.
The views were all good --- AND THE WEATHER WAS DRY !!

Scotland squad to compete in the European senior women's team golf championship at the National Golf Resort, Lithuania from September 1 to 5 is:

JULY MEDAL OVER RENFREW

32 ladies played over the long RENFREW course today. The overall winner was 17 year old ALISON MACNAB (Kilmacolm) playing in her first senior County Medal.  Alison's score of net 69 beat the more experienced ladies by several shots.  Best scratch was LIZ HALE (Caldwell) with a gross 82.  The SSS was 74 - the CSS 75.  Sorry ladies it was counting!

The draw for the County Medal over Gleddoch on Sunday 26th July has now been done. Unfortunately this event has been poorly subscribed to. 
The Entry Forms for the August Greensomes at Kilmacolm and the September Tri-Am over Cow glen are now available -- Please do make these a success by coming along and enjoying these 2 competitions.
The Greensomes is -- entry with a partner and the Tri-Am is single entry and a draw for teams will be done.

COUNTY ROSEBOWL RESULT

The first County Rosebowl match was played today between Carol Fell (Ranfurly Castle - Handicap 10) and Brenda Conway (Renfrew - Handicap 12).
Carol was out in level par 38 with good chips and putts and with home advantage won 7&6
Both were delighted to have played the match in lovely conditions and make it back to the clubhouse before torrential rain flooded the course !!
Gillian Kyle (East Renfrewshire) with home advantage was the winner over Sandra MacDougall (Greenock)
