Congratulations and well done to Megan who beat last year's holder, Lesley Hendry, on a better inward half. Both went round in 76, Megan came back in 36 and Lesley in 37. Anne Laing was a close third on 77.
The Handicap Section was won by Gillian Arnott from Kilbirnie Place who pipped Alyson McKechin by one shot. Alyson was in the lead for most of the day until Gillian returned her winning score of 70 in the third last game. Alison McGinnigle from Cochrane Castle was 3rd
It was another successful day for Renfrewshire as they won the West of Scotland Team Trophy. The Team was Megan Briggs, Clare-Marie Carlton and Alyson McKechin with an aggregate 230. (pictured above)Dunbartonshire & Argyll were second with 236.
We were very lucky to play on a glorious autumnal day - the day after the course was closed!

Our Results Secretary, Freda Tuck, Secretary, Morag Turner, Kay Black and Maureen Mitchell ensured the day ran without any hitches and we are very grateful to them. Also many thanks to West of Scotland Secretary, Isabel Crawford, for all her organisation.
