Megan Briggs four times winner of the Renfrewshire Championship had 3 birdies and 1 bogey in her 2 under par 71 over Erskine Golf Club today and was the leading qualifier in the RLCGA County Championship. Alyson McKechin had the next best round with a 75.
Eilidh Briggs, County Champion for the past two years, is not in the field this week. She is competing in a British universities' event at West Lancs GC
The best net score of the day was local player Gina McDougall (pictured right) with a net 69 playing of a handicap of 11 and wins the Peggy Clark Trophy.
