ALEXANDRA QAYUM DOES WELL IN THE HIGHLAND JUNIOR MASTERS
12-year-old Kirsty Brodie (Strathmore) won the girls' title at the Highland Spring Junior Masters Grand Final over the Queen's Course, Gleneagles yesterday.
For 12-year-old Kirsty Brodie (Strathmore) it was a repeat of last year's success when, playing off 13, she scored 40 Stableford points. Twelve months later, Kirsty, with her handicap down to 10, won the girls' top award with 39points - three more than joint runners-up Julie Smith (Murrayfield), Eva O'Connor (Bothwell Castle) and Andrea Walker (Falkirk).
Congratulations go to Renfrewshire's Alex Qayum (Ranfurly Castle) who finished in joint 5th position.
