RENFREWSHIRE'S FIONA CAMERON MAKES IT TO THE FINAL OF THE HANDICAP MATCHPLAY

Fiona Cameron (Cowglen) played in the Scottish Senior's Championships at West Linton Golf Club this week and qualified for the Handicap Matchplay stages.

Yesterday she won through two ties and has reached the semi final which she played D&A's Lorraine Campbell today.

Barbara Biggart (North Berwick) (8) beat Morag Wardrop (Turnhouse) (9) 3 and 2.
Fiona Cameron (Cowglen) (11) beat Frances McFadzean (Craigmillar Park) (11) 1 hole.
Elinor Blair (North Berwick) (9) beat Louise Rigg (Ladies Panmure Barry) (24) 4 and 3.
Lorraine Campbell (Cardross) (5) beat Karen Ballantyne (Craigmillar Park) (6) 3 and 2.
Gillian Wallace (Blairgowrie) (7) beat Margot Barr (Gairloch) (11) 2 holes.

QUARTER-FINALS
Goodwin beat MacVicar 4 and 3.
Cameron beat Biggart 1 hole.
Campbell beat Blair 4 and 3.
Wallace beat Dee 4 and 2.

D&A's Lorraine Campbell (Cardross) was victorious over Renfrewshire's Fiona Cameron (Cowglen) in the Plate event.
