Calling all girl and lady and senior lady amateur golfers within playing distance of Haggs Castle and Drumpellier golf clubs.
We really need you to enter the Paul Lawrie Scottish Ladies Open tour events at the two venues named above - Haggs Castle on Monday, September 23, and Drumpellier on Tuesday, September 24.
Not to put too fine a point on it, so many of the tour professionals have dropped out of these events because of a clash with LETAS tournaments that the handful of players left are playing for a lot of sponsorship money/prize vouchers.
You can see the entry lists for yourself by logging on to www.scottishladiestour.co.uk
If you cannot manage to play in both, but might be able to enter one of the events, please do so.
It is important for the future of the Paul Lawrie Scottish Ladies Open Tour that the fields at events are of a respectable size. We lose our credibility and our ability to attract future sponsors if the fields barely make it to double figures.
So, please, if you can get the afternoon off - both 18-hole events have post lunchtime starting times - enter one or both of the events through the website.
You can enter online at www.scottishladiestour.co.uk
We have never had any senior ladies play on the PLGC SLOT but there is no reason why they should not compete for prizes up to the value of a £500 voucher. As long as they have a single-figure handicap.
We need your help. Please come to our aid.
