Past Captain Gillian Kyle has her last day today at Mearns Castle Golf Academy after working there for 14 years.
 She was seen at the Scottish Golf Show last weekend advertising the Centre which has new tracking Top Tracer bays.

We wish her every success in her "retirement" and good luck next month representing the Scottish Vets in the Mary McKenna Trophy in Ireland.

The junior girls thoroughly enjoyed the winter coaching sessions. The sessions were very successful with the girls picking up some great tips, hitting some great shots and all getting along together very well.
Both Karyn Burns and Mark Loftus commented how good it was to work with such an enthusiastic group of girls. The final one took place on Sunday 15th March at MCGA and after an indoor session with Mark Loftus the girls enjoyed playing a few holes.

Mearns Castle Golf Academy are holding a Ladies' Open Day On Thursday 29th August.  
Basic details are...
TRI-AM format Teeing off from 10am-just 9 holes
£10 entry/person which includes soup/sandwiches afterwards in the new cafe. (lovely Italian!)
Preferably enter in 3's but individual entries welcomed.
