The Inter County Foursomes Finals were played over Pollok today . The course was in magnificent condition. With the sun shining and very windy the course played even longer than its 6022 yards. The ladies found it a tough challenge. However, Lesley Lloyd and Fiona Scott representing Lanarkshire scored 39 each way to win the Scratch Award with a 78.
In the handicap event the qualifiers found it tough with the winners being Dorothy Woodger and Maida Grant (D&A) with a net 83.5 beating The Renfrewshire County Winter Foursomes Winners Morag Turner and Beatrice Orr (Kilmacolm) by 0.5 of a shot

2nd:Isobel Harvey (St Rule) and Aileen Baker (Hilton Park)- (D&A) 81
