Maureen Woodhead and Linda McDougall in the rain at Renfrew Golf Club
Helen Faulds (Captain of the West Vets) beat Janice Paterson (Drumpellier) 4 and 3 today in strong winds and rain in the Championship Semi Finals at Renfrew today.
Renfrewshire's Linda MacDougall (Greenock) beat Renfrewshire's Maureen Woodhead (Gourock) 3 and 2 in the other Semi Final.
In the Bronze Championship, after beating Helen Crichton (Ranfurly Castle) 3 and 1, Anne Donnelly (Whitecraigs) goes forward to play Maureen Rennie of Douglas Park who was given a walkover due to illness by Morag Thomson of Ranfurly Castle.
The West Division Committee is now looking for a suitable day to play the finals and this will be announced as soon as possible.
