Despite the bad weather all the the matches have been able to be played or nearly played !
The last tie was played today -- Wednesday 30th November (St. Andrew's Day) -- the day after the floods -- between Jean Irvine and Agnes Williamson (Ranfurly Castle) against Linda Stevenson and Lorna Howie (Whitecraigs). The match was meant to be played over Whitecraigs but with the HORRENDOUS CONDITIONS the match was transferred to Ranfurly Castle.
The message your webmaster got was " Whitecraigs Golf Course was closed and we used the 12 hole stroke index and played at Ranfurly Castle in what can only be described horrendous weather"
