12 year old Jennifer Rankine of Haggs Castle who is in the Junior squad training won the SLGA under 13s award at Strathmore Golf Club this week.
Jennifer, playing off 28 shot nett 69 & 62 for 131 to win by 2 shots.
She also had the second best net score overall in the full Under 16's SLGA Tournament.
Jennifer played last Sunday in the Senior / Junior Match at Erskine last Sunday and is now a member of the West of Scotland Girls Association.
She should soon have her handicap down to become a member of Renfrewshire Ladies' County Golf Association.
SHE HAS SOME GREAT TALENT AND JENNIFER IS A NAME TO LOOK OUT FOR THE FUTURE.
