The famous Ayrshire course is the venue for the 100th staging of the Championship and the event has attracted a strong field of 112 competitors.
Eilidh will be flying out to the Curtis Cup at St Louis Country Club on May 26 - but there is work to done before the long flight to Atlanta. "I played in the British Women's Strokeplay at Prestwick last year so I know it is a tough course of real quality," - "A lot will depend on the weather, if the wind blows it will be really difficult. "I always enjoy playing in the Scottish and it is the start of an exciting period in my golfing career." Eilidh, a former Scottish Girls' Champion, was runner-up in the Scottish Championship as a teenager at Machrihanish in 2011. She lost the final to Louise Kenney (Pitreavie).
Her older sister, Megan, won the title at Southerness in 2009.
